![]() Martha continues her quilt activities, both for personal pleasure and as library volunteer and webmaster for the New England Quilt Museum. She has just resumed work on her "Seasons" quilt cycle, with a timely Winter Snowflakes design. On the home front, we have finally succumbed to the Digital Age (the Digital Urge?) and updated our vintage 1985 media setup. It has cost about a third of the available floor space in the living room, but there's finally a DVD player, a TV large enough not to require binoculars, and speakers that didn't go to college with us. Teddy, our orange tiger cat (and the True Lord Of the Manor), is delighted: the best viewing is from his favorite couch, so he's getting a lot more Quality Lap Time. Martha’s new toys this year include a 36 inch antique doll from Bob’s mother, Fiesta dishes from her mother, and a 1914 Singer treadle sewing machine. |
