New playground in Acton, MA In June I got him a Carlisle t-shirt Gabe's 3rd birthday party We both love cuddling in our hammock The tire horse at the Carlisle playground
His last day at daycare in Grafton Legoland Discovery Center in Boston Feeding a sheep at Great Brook Farm Halloween costumes Brining the turkey in a Home Depot bucket
There was so much food at Thanksgiving! I showed Gabe some velcro and he made a toy vegetable necklace At Old Home Day in Carlisle, his hot dog had lots of ketchup Wayland Town Beach is close to his house This floor mat is one of many toys from the transfer station swap shed
Gabe's learning to hike on the trails near their house Last year's costume fits even better when you're 4. Pretending with Brio trains after taking real rides on the commuter rail Another train layout in our basement playroom He got PlayStix for Chanukah and we built a dog together.
The big rocks at the playground are as much fun as the equipment. We took the commuter rail and subways to the Rose Kennedy Greenway and rode the carousel. Gabe started Kindergarten at Happy Hollow School in Wayland in September. Lori cleverly turned a lemon costume into a pineapple costume for Gabe this Halloween. By February the snow bank a the head of our driveway was big enough for a tunnel.
His Brio train layouts have gotten very fancy! He's 6 years old and going into 1st grade. In the summer we explored the trails around Walden Pond. At Timberlock he began mastering the art of ring toss. His Crocadilly stuffed animal is a favorite.
And he's a wiz at Lego building. Note the word "FUN" Many of their clothes and sneakers are Paw Patrol products Gabe's 2nd grade school photo Gabe's best friend Lily's grandma sewed these 2 costumes This snow leopard even has claws

At Timberlock he took his first real hike up Pinnacle

And learned to kayak solo

And spotted big mushrooms

And coached a chess game
