The Freedman family on our Sunday morning Pinnacle hike. Jon and Larissa on our Sunday morning Pinnacle hike. I added cherry twigs to the birch bark frame I made in 1995 and replaced the broken mirror.
Lunch at Peaked Pond with Jon and Larissa. Frog in Peaked Pond. View from the top of Peaked Peak at 2919 feet.
This shows how far we hiked (3.6 miles, 1245 ft ascent) before thunder storms chased us off the mountain top. Larissa before a trail ride. Jon before a trail ride.
Jon gets on his horse. Larissa riding around the corral. Jon riding around the corral.
I think this miniature horse is the mother. I think this miniature horse is her son. Both miniature horses in their small corral.
This kitten was named Digit because of his extra toes. Digit in the grass. Digit again.
Martha does a back dive off the floating trampoline. On cold mornings the mist rises off the lake. Our cousin Claudia Greene with Digit in her lap.
The morning mist also rises behind Long Island. Morning mist looking up the lake from camp. Pinnacle hike on the second Sunday with the Normans, Greens, Thomsons, Presberg-Greenes, and Supnik family.
The Presberg-Greene family on Pinnacle. Diane and Fritz Green on Pinnacle. Ben and Lori on Pinnacle.
Digit sleeping on the swinging bench. Swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges. Ben swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges.
Martha swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges. Rafters float down the Hudson River past us. Swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges.
Lori swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges. Ben and Lori swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges. Ben and Lori swimming in the Hudson River at Blue Ledges.
How Martha tied 3 boat cushions to a backpack for the hike to Blue Ledges. I cut a bear on the jigsaw and painted this mirror for the men's "trail john." I painted little bear tracks around the frame.
Here's the top of the mirror. The second week I made a moose mirror for the south "trail john" and painted bull rushes for the moose to "eat." We saw lots of loons on Indian Lake this year.
This old tree stump on the path to our cottage has a new pine tree growing out of it - a sign of hope!
